Monastery and Monastic Community

A monastery is built of many stones. The Stift Neuburg monastery is a place of prayer and home to a convent of Benedictine monks.
But it is not only the resident monks who are looking towards the monastery as a source of strength. The oblates are also members of the monastic order; they support the monks and the monastery with their prayer and work.

And there are also the Friends of Stift Neuburg, an association of volunteers and supporters who contribute to the monastery financially and in many other ways.

It is hard to imagine how the monastery would continue to run without the help and dedication of all these people.
